Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF)
Law-abiding Americans are increasingly subject to routine
surveillance, not only by federal intelligence agencies -- which will
confront a critical legislative deadline in 2017 -- but also by local
law enforcement agencies like police departments, and sheriff's
offices, as well as private sector sources such as social media
networks, employers, and ISPs. Learn how to use a few
simple-yet-powerful tools to defend your privacy from electronic
monitoring, while also exploring how policy reform opportunities
present a chance for your community to increase transparency and
introduce long overdue checks & balances.
About the Electronic Frontier Foundation:

organization defending civil liberties in the digital world. Founded in
1990, it champions user privacy, free expression, and innovation through

development. They work to ensure that rights and freedoms are enhanced
and protected as our use of technology grows.
