User Conversations: Basic Internet Safety|
Ted Sternberg, Group
At this month's meeting, a special election for club secretary will be held, and then member Ted Sternberg
will be starting a discussion on the foundations of basic internet safety that everyone should be
familiar with. You'll find answers to questions such as what the lock icon in your browser means, what https is,
what security exception warnings are all about, what incognito mode really does, and why your email is
probably not as secure as you think. Come prepared with your own questions and contribute your own experiences
in internet safety to this group discussion that is open to LUGOD members, guests, and the public!
