Bill Kendrick, Peter Salzman and Zach Johnson provided a signed,
letter-headed document
containing the name and address of our club, our names, our
Social Security Numbers, our Dates of Birth, and our California ID numbers,
to Washington Mutual, along with copies of LUGOD's Employer Identification
Number (EIN) and Non-Profit Status letters from the IRS.
Since Zach is Treasurer, he is the current contact with the bank. He
supplied his daytime phone number and the club's PO Box address. Bill's
daytime number was given, as well.
LUGOD is signed up as an organization for a "Business Interested Checking
Account." The rate is approx. 1%. (We can also open CD and Money Market
accounts if we wish to.)
Checks were ordered. Zach, being the Treasurer, is the sole signator.
We did not order an ATM card (they are not available for NPO's, besides.)
Bill and Zach signed in duplicate. Pete must sign ASAP.
