The meeting will be held in Room 1017.

Wickson Hall is on the UC Davis campus, and is located on N. Quad, between California Ave. (on the west) and W. Quad (on the east).


Directions

Coming from outside Davis

Davis is just west of Sacramento, in the Central Valley of California.

From Sacramento

  • Take highway 80 west towards San Francisco.
  • Once in Davis, take highway 113 north towards Woodland.
  • Follow the instructions below
From Woodland
  • Take highway 113 south towards Davis
  • Follow the instructions below
From the Bay Area
  • Take highway 80 east towards Sacramento.
  • Once in Davis, take highway 113 north towards Woodland.
  • Follow the instructions below
Once on Highway 113
  • Take the Russel Blvd. exit and head east, towards campus and downtown
  • Turn right onto California Ave. or Howard Way, heading south into campus
  • Parking is available north of Wickson, among other places

Coming from Downtown Davis

  • Head toward campus on Russel Blvd., aka 5th Street
  • Turn onto California Ave. or Howard Way, heading south into campus
  • Parking is available north of Wickson, among other places
  • See parking info, below.

Parking

The nearest parking areas to Wickson Hall are North Entry Parking Structure on Howard Way, and Visitor Parking (VP) 15 on California Ave.

Note: Execpt in the evening (after 5pm) during summer months, parking on UC Davis campus does cost money on weekdays! (As of May 2005, parking costs $6.00.)

If it is not summer, and you do not have a UC Davis parking permit, y ou may wish to park off-campus and walk to Wickson Hall, or carpool with those willing to park on campus.

  • The parking structure on Howard Way has 2 hour meters (which should be long enough if you come at 7pm and leave by 9pm). At 25c for 15min, it should cost $2.00.
  • If you want to take a short walk, parking is free at Central Park (C St. between 5th and 3rd), or on A Street next to City Hall

YOLOBUS serves Davis, West Sacramento, Winters, Woodland, downtown Sacramento, Sacramento International Airport, Cache Creek Casino, Esparto, Madison and Knights Landing.

  • Route 42A (coming from Sacramento and West Sacramento, and heading towards Woodland and Sacramento International Airport) stops at the Memorial Union at UC Davis:

    Around the meeting start (6:30pm) at: 5:31pm and 6:31pm.
    Around the meeting end (9:00pm) at: 8:29pm and 9:29pm.

  • Route 42B (coming from Sacramento International Airport and Woodland, and heading towards West Sacramento and Downtown Sacramento) stops at the Memorial Union at UC Davis:

    Around the meeting start (6:30pm) at: 6:11pm.
    Around the meeting end (9:00pm) at: 10:00pm.
