To new and returning UC Davis students: welcome (back) to Davis!
Join us at the next LUGOD
meeting, Monday, October 15th at 7pm at the Yolo County public library
(315 East 14th Street in Davis) for a presentation on Home CNC Machining
with Linux!
Learn how you can engrave and route with computer-controlled
mills and lathes, and even how to make printed circuit boards!
This meeting will demonstrate actual machining, describe the electronics, and show how to install and use free open-source software under Linux.
Attendees will get a chance to take home their own engraved/machined object!
