Project Reports
- Demo - Hoping to schedule one in the next 3-4 weeks.
- Installfests - The next will be on Sat. Jan. 22, 2005.
We'll need warm bodies to help hold some hands. 1/2 dozen RSVPs;
will probably double by Saturday. It's the closest you can get
to a 'hack-fest', so it's fun! 10am-6pm @ 1131 Kemper Hall, UC Davis.
- LERT - Anyone interested in volunteering? There have been
recent calls - we use the vox-outreach mailing list for them.
Should we promote LERT at Installfests? Chris suggested we promote
LERT through flyers - use sufficiently specific language about what
an 'emergency' is.
- Library - Popularity of the Library has dwindled lately.
The library index is up to date, though!
Other Business
- Financial Report - $18.55 in voluntary dues were
collected.
Presentation
- Scott Ritche, Exectuive Director of the Open Vote Foundation
discussed the OVF.
Also, Jim March, Board of Directors of BlackBoxVoting.org
(and plaintiff against Diebold in Alameda County) briefly
discussed 'how not to do electronic voting.'
(Sadly, no slides were used, so no notes are available!)
