It was held at 1:15pm at Sophia's Thai Restaurant, in Davis.
The officers unanimously decided to open an official LUGOD bank account at Washington Mutual Bank in Davis.
Washington Mutual was suggested by Pete Salzman. THey offer free checking for Non-Profit Organizations.
Signers will be Chairperson Bill Kendrick, Vice Chairperson Pete Salzman, and Treasurer Zach Johnson.
This officers meeting was held to satisfy the bank's need for official club minutes showing the officers' decision to bank at Washington Mutual.

Bill Kendrick, Peter Salzman and Zach Johnson provided a signed, letter-headed document containing the name and address of our club, our names, our Social Security Numbers, our Dates of Birth, and our California ID numbers, to Washington Mutual, along with copies of LUGOD's Employer Identification Number (EIN) and Non-Profit Status letters from the IRS.
Since Zach is Treasurer, he is the current contact with the bank. He supplied his daytime phone number and the club's PO Box address. Bill's daytime number was given, as well.
LUGOD is signed up as an organization for a "Business Interested Checking Account." The rate is approx. 1%. (We can also open CD and Money Market accounts if we wish to.)
Checks were ordered. Zach, being the Treasurer, is the sole signator. We did not order an ATM card (they are not available for NPO's, besides.)
Bill and Zach signed in duplicate. Pete must sign ASAP.
