Committee Reports

• UCD HOWTOs - Jessica still wants feedback on the Resnet Howto.

• Tax Exempt Status - We need to establish a bank account.

• Demo Committee - We still need someone to organize the committee. We're guessing about 5 hours of work a month in the position. Pete sent a request to VA for a machine to use during demos and presentations. Bill will call UCD to see whether non-campus organizations like LUGOD ca participate on April 15th's Picnic Day.

• Ambassador to Other LUGs - SacLUG's next meeting is April 12th at 7pm on Beowulf clustering.

• DCN - No changes.

Other Business

• Financial Report - We collected $20.85 in voluntary dues.

• Installfest - The next installfest will be on April 16th, EUII Room 1131. RSVP with Pete Salzman. Taos, the Sysadmin Company, will be sponsoring the IF (free pizza!). They'll be talking about recruiting, so bring your resumes!

• Officer Nominations - Bill Kendrick has been nominated for root (Chairperson), Pete Salzman for sys (Vice Chair), Jen Rutherford for typescript (Secretary), and Zach Johnson for /dev/null (Treasurer). Nominations are open until the next meeting, when voting will begin.
