We met at Round Table Pizza in Davis.

UCD RESENET-HOWTO - The HOWTO is done. We are waiting for approval or denail from UCD IT.
UCD PPP-HOWTO - A draft is available from, and comments should be sent to, Mike Simons.
Tax Exempt Club Status - Still in progress, nothing to report.
Davis High School Project - The school was having network trouble when the DHS Project members visited last week. They will be returning to install Linux on Thursday.
LUGOD Logo - Check the website and the VOX mailing list for an upcoming web-based poll.
Ambassador to Other LUGs - BayLUG will be having Linus Torvalds speaking in June. COWLUG seems to be dead. SacLUG will be having speakers talk about programming CGI's and an Install Fest in June.

Install Fest - LUGOD's Install Fest will be held on Saturday, May 22 from 10am to 4pm at the UC Davis Engineering Unit II (EUII) building in room 1131. Contact Mike Simons for details.
PO Box - Motion to get a local P.O. box passed by consent. Root and Sys members will each hold a key. The cost is $22.00 for 1/2 year, plus $2.00 for keys.
Financial Report - $41 was donated to the club today. Dev-Null reports a total of $113.36 total.
Elections - The summer solstice is soon. That means election time is around the corner!
Government Technology Conference - There WAS room. Mike Simons helped out SACLUG and Sac PC Users Group and provided a LUGOD presence. Spare Update99 flyers were passed out. Mike donated lots of time and money. Thanks Mike!
Dontation - On behalf of VA Linux Systems, Chris DiBona paid for our first 6 months of the PO Box! Thanks Chris and VA!

Chris DiBona of VA Linux Systems provided a lively and entertaining look at the company, Linux in general, and more. He also bought us all beer and lots (too many!) twisty bread-sticks.
