Our 5 year anniversary cake! Along with a big "5.0", it had a quote from
Pete Salzman, where he suggested we start a club back in December, 1998:
"is there a linux user group in Davis? if not, are there people who might
be interested in forming one?", and a recent testimonial quote
from Andrew Arnett in December, 2003: "LUGOD is amazingly better than any
other special interest non-profit group I have ever seen." We've come
a long way!
We filled up the back room of Ding How. Over 40 people attended, spanning
