Nominations now being accepted for LUGOD officer positions

As of this week's meeting, nominations are now open for LUGOD's elected officer positions: root (president), sys (vice president), typescript (secretary) and /dev/null (treasurer). If you would like to nominate yourself, or someone else, for one or more position, please email your nomination to LUGOD's secretary at: typescript@lugod.org [mailto:typescript@lugod.org].

Nominations will be accepted until November 19th, and elections will being starting at November's meeting. (Note: It's been 6 years since we've had to vote — usually no more than one candidate gets chosen per position — but if we do, it will take place online between the November and December meetings.) Note: We are in particular need of a new treasurer, as Greg has recently moved to southern California.
