Micah Cowan will be returning to LUGOD this month (November 15th) [http://www.lugod.org/meeting/] to talk about Wget [http://www.gnu.org/software/wget/], which he maintained between mid-2007 and earlier this year. Along with the ins-and-outs of Wget, he'll discuss lessons learned while maintaining it, and talk about things that make maintaining an official GNU project unique.
(This month's previously-scheduled topic, MythTV, has been rescheduled for May [http://www.lugod.org/meeting/upcoming/#2011.05.16].)
