• Library — Part of our Lending Library has finally been delivered to Melissa Danforth of CSU Bakersfield. Thanks to Nick Schmalenberger for helping transport the books to the LISA conference for the exchange!

Other Business

• News —
  • Tux Paint (created by Bill Kendrick of LUGOD) won the 2010 Readers' Choice Awards in Linux Journal magazine. (Thanks to Tim Riley for pointing it out.)
• Financial Report — $48.00 in voluntary dues were collected tonight.
  Greg FitzGerald is filling out the paperwork to file as tax-exempt group ith state of California, preparing financial documentation and will talk to a CPA and/or a non-profit help service at the Sacramento Library about direction, and proceed based on their recommendation. Richard Harke says wife is a possibility as a CPA option, and Greg has a CPA he can contact, as well.
• Becoming a UC Davis "Campus Affiliate Group" — No report.
• Explorit membership — We received a nice thank-you letter from Explorit for our recent donation (in appreciation of letting us use their facilities for our meetings).
