• New Appointed Officer Position
  The position of "Publicity Officer" was created. Bill Kendrick, who has been acting as public relations, was appointed.

• Flyer Committee
  We have decided we should create a flyer committee to help get flyers posted around town. Committee chair would be responsible for organizing flyer posting events.

• Library
  Henry says the library information on LUGOD.org can be made up to date within about 2 weeks. A lateness fee (of $1 per day after 3 weeks of non-returnal or -renewal) will be implemented.

• Finances
  Rhonda says financial information on LUGOD.org can be made up to date by October 22nd. Reminder: absolutely no reimbursments will be given without receipts, or an expense form being filled out. Our bank situation was mentioned- we see no reason to change from Washington Mutual at this time.

• Food
  LUGOD will hold off on purchasing food for meetings, unless they are special occasions (eg, anniversary). Pizza at Installfests will be donated to installers. Remaining will be given to others for a price of $2.00. (Of course, donated food will be accepted for all meetings and events!)

• LERT
  Henry has taken over as LERT coordinator. LERT donations will be marked as so, when possible, when turing them over to treasurer.

• E-mail aliases
  E-mail aliases for LERT coordinator ("lert@lugod.org"), Librarian ("librarian@lugod.org"), Installfest coordinator ("if@lugod.org"), Demo coordinator ("demo@lugod.org") and Publicity Officer ("pr@lugod.org") will be requested to Cal.net.

• Meeting Tardiness
  Lately, meeting attendees have been showing up later and later, causing meetings to begin later, and therefore run later. (This seems like a vicious cycle!) We will make sure to emphasize that people arrive on-time or early.
