Officer's Meeting

Topics

• Carpool
  The secretary will be the Point of Contact for people interested in carpooling. People willing to drive carpools will let the secretary know this (including where they're willing to pick people up from). People needing a ride can then contact the sec. who will forward their request to the closest driver.

• Library
  Bill has assured us that, now that he can unpack at his new house, the library page will be updated.

• Treasury
  Cash collected at meetings still needs to be placed into LUGOD's bank account Also, LUGOD.org's "devnull" page must be updated.
• Membership Expiration
  Every six months, the secretary will contact everyone listed as a LUGOD member (who (s)he hasn't seen recently) to verify whether they still wish to be considered members of the club. (Since the club is free, there's no set membership length.)

• Quorum
  Pete Salzman has some ideas for determining voting quorum at meetings, and will bring them up at the next meeting he can attend. (He will be away the next few due to exams.)

• Install Fests
  We are still looking for someone to chair the Install Fest committee.

• Judicial Review Committee
  Remington Stone was to work on this, but has dropped out of the club. Pete Salzman will be looking into this.

• Legal Officer
  Henry House showed interest in becoming the appointed legal officer, but was unable to make the officer's meeting.

Other News

• Pete Salzman is donating CDR's and Drew will burn the latest version of Debian onto them for the LUGOD library.

• A new T-shirt design is being considered.
• Reminder: Elections are soon!
