You know, the part of the reason there's more spams off of vox these days
is because people actually put e-mail addresses when replying, and those
replies get archived.  For example, most e-mail readers used to quote
like this:

  On Fri, 3 Sep 2004, Micah J. Cowan wrote:

But now more e-mail readers seem to be quoting like this:

  On Fri, 3 Sep 2004, Micah J. Cowan <your@email.address> wrote:

Then this reply gets archived on the website, then your address gets
harvested by the spambots.

I've been saying we need to be more aware of this but I don't seem to get
much attention.  Hmph! >:P

It's not a good idea to put your e-mail address in your sig -- it doesn't
get munged in the archive, and it so gets harvested by the spambots.
