Not really.  There has always been an ongoing market for Unix
workstations, and Linux fits in there quite nicely.  Add to that people
who don't need absolute bloat-for-bloat compatibility with the latest
Microsoft Corporation scheme to sell "integration".  Add people who
think renting software for an annual fee is meshugge.  And you just
might have quite a crowd.

However, pleasantly enough, that crowd can continue to prosper without
having to worry about concepts like "market dominance" that
proprietary-OS people are obliged to obsess over.

And pinhead executives who don't want it in their firms because they
don't run it personally are Darwin's clients, and can be outcompeted
and replaced by others.
