Pac Bell never did get around to installing DSL for me. Didn't stop them from 
charging for service though.

Anyhow, I have service throgh cal.net. It's $50/month for basic DSL service 
(static IP), but they have a bunch of extras (good tech support, a shell 
account on one of thier debian boxen, 10mb web site), however thier AUP 
requires you get permission before running a server. They also have added 
temperory (a few days) download caps when I've used excessive bandwidth (I 
maxed out my line for about 3 days)
