[vox] Game Conference 2003 - call for paper
Call for Paper: 2nd International Conference on Application and Development of Computer Games
Theme: Network/Multiplayer Games and Security
Date: 6 -7 January 2003
An area of computing that has grown at an escalating speed and made a
significant impact on society in recent years is computer game
development. On the other hand, the Internet is moving at the speed
beyond our imagination compared to a few years ago. It is an open system
and is insecure, but accommodates a wide variety of information,
services, people, culture, and communities. The Internet is also the
engine and the platform of choice for a diverse range of applications,
entertainments and businesses. This conference brings these two
together and focuses on network game and its security. Driven by market
demands, the on-line game is required to be ubiquitous and pervasive;
accessible from any devices and through any networks, including wireless
and mobile ones. This conference also examines the wider impact of
computer games, not just in the game industry but also in other areas
such as network resources and planning, learning, multimedia and
programming. The aim of this conference provides a forum for researchers
and practitioners from the academic, industrial, and public sectors, to
share their latest innovations on game development and applications.
Deadline of Abstract: 16 September 2002, Monday
Deadline of Full Paper: 11 November 2002, Monday
