Unix/Linux on the Mac -- Exploring the Possibilities
Presentation and Roundtable sponsored by Apple Computer

Please join us for a lively discussion and exploration on Tuesday, March
19 at Room 1065, Engineering II.

John Tucker, Consulting Engineer with Apple Computer, will visit UC-Davis
for the day to lead a presentation and Q&A session.  He will address the
possibilities available to faculty and supporting staff in Engineering and
Computing Sciences.

Some of the topics will include Apple development tools, research
applications, networking utilities available through OS X, and porting
Linux applications to Mac.  Plenty of time will be allocated to engage
your specific areas of interest and inquiry.

Schedule:

10:00 am -- Doors open / Refreshments and cookies
10:15 am -- John Tucker, Apple CE, presentation and overview
11:15 am
   to 1pm   -- Q&A, Roundtable discussion and Open House
