This is to keep people from whining when 'helpful' programs like the 
"popspam7000 internet explorer plugin" [1,2] that were installed with quality 
programs like "DasBlinkenlites9000" [1,2] decide that the user would enjoy a 
great offer on a new "Widget2000" [2] whilst searching for "widgets suck".
