[vox] IBM & Linux

This is from the front page of the Business Section in Today's Sacramento Bee:

"IBM Corp. will release today what it says is the first mainframe running the
free, open source Linux operating system. The New Z-series mainframe for
Linux, which costs $400,000 and is aimed at processing transactions at large
businesses, is IBM's first mainframe computer sold without IBM's traditinoal
x/OS mainframe operating system, the company said.

Compiled from Knight Ridder News Service and the Associated Press."
