Subject: [vox] Bioinformatics Programmer Postion
FYI, this went up today:
Bioinformatics Programmer - Tool Development
We have an immediate opportunity for a bioinformatics programmer. The
ideal candidate should have an advanced degree in a molecular biology
related discipline and experience developing bionformatics tools. The
programmer will work within a bioinformatics team focused on the
identification and structural/functional annotation of cancer genes.
Experience with homology searching, protein classification, data
visualization and/or data mining is mandatory. Familiarity with the
graphical tools and libraries associated with Perl, Java, or C is a
plus. The ability to adapt to the exciting and hanging nature of a
start-up organization and function in a team environment is essential.
