There is some quite extensive documeation about msec available from www.mandrakeuser.org, although I can't seem to find it right now.

Good point.  I've only found piecemeal solutions involving customization
of the Mandrake security program.  Documentation is scanty.  The
problems I've had are with the higher security settings.  Probably this
is not your problem.
