If you still have not talked to a school, or the school(s) you
talked to were still skeptical, there is an OpenOffice flyer
available at http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=19925
This should give the school all of the information it needs to
understand the advantages of OpenOffice. If they have additional
questions that you cannot answer, let me know.

As I mentioned on vox August 12, 2003, in relation to this push, have
you contacted the Association of California School Administrators
(ACSA)? They publish a weekly newspaper, EDCAL (editor: London Roberts),
and a bi-monthly magazine, Educational Leadership (editor: Susan Davis)
that may be interested in publicizing your effort. Email addresses are
first initial, last name at acsa.org. Phone number is 916-444-3216. You
can tell 'em I referred you, if you want (I was, once upon a year, webmaster for this organization).

If you rush, you may reach them before their newspaper's editorial
deadline and get something in the hands of people who are interested
while the event is still fresh.

The planned date for distribution is October 13th. Since that is
barely a week from now, if you want to participate, please contact
me NOW!

Thanks so much, Lincoln!
