PHP and MySQL Developer, San Mateo, $80K - $120K 

San Mateo based Untangle has an opening for a PHP and MySQL 
Developer with Web Experience. Help us transform our 
network-gateway product website into a world-class, customer-
focused e-commerce site. 

In this position you???ll create and implement web-based 
technology that increases sales conversion rates and greatly 
enhances our customers??? ability to self-manage subscription-
based accounts. you???ll also implement changes on our Joomla-
based corporate website, Magento based e-commerce store and 
our product GUI as well.  These changes will span everything 
from basic styling changes to developing new modules to adding 
new website features such as Salesforce integration or 
internationalization into local languages, and set up the 
process to generate automated sales and metrics reports.

Requirements:

* 3+ years of PHP development on Linux in a production environment
* 3+ years of database design, implementation, and tuning (MySQL,
Postgres,  ???)
* Experience installing, configuring, extending and deploying third
party and open source software such as Joomla/Drupal, Bugzilla, SVN,
Magento etc.
* Solid shell scripting experience
* Experience with e-commerce sites, and conversion tracking
* Experience with production software releases including systems
management and performance tuning
* 2+ years of Object Oriented programming using PHP with a framework
such as Zend or Symfony
* Familiarity with one or more AJAX Frameworks, such as ExtJS,
Prototype, Dojo, YUI desirable
* Must be passionate about understanding customer needs and solving
them effectively
* Must be a proactive, intelligent, motivated individual, with the
ability to work in groups or individually
* Bachelors in CS or equivalent degree.
