Linux Systems Engineer, Santa Clara, $110k to $130k commensurate with

As Woven Systems' hands-on Linux expert you will apply your knowledge of
Linux servers, internals and drivers to a myriad of tasks typical in a
dynamic startup engineering environment.  If you take pride and
ownership in your work and enjoy supporting others in a growing
development environment then add yourself to our tight-nit team.  Your
contributions will include porting Linux, maintaining kernel and
application "makefiles", driver hacking, installations, kernel patching,
Linux administration support for engineering, and supporting a networked
device implementation.  

BSCS/EE, MS preferred 
7+ years recent experience with Linux architectures, kernel, internals,
and device drivers 
Working knowledge of several Linux versions, future directions and
installation tools (e.g., Subversion, Track) 
Experience porting open source Linux distributions on multiple platforms

Experience maintaining and improving the makefiles used to build the
kernel, uBoot, file system images 
Able to provide development team with basic Linux administration support
for the development environment 
Ability to work independently and deliver reliable and high performance
Very good communication, documentation,  presentation and organizational
skills required  
Experience with networking products and clustering systems, very
