Linux/Unix/Windows/Cisco/Oracle Day Shift!!!
Location : Brisbane, CA
Position Type : Contract to Hire Pay Rate: Up to $40/hour

A minimum of two to four years of system administration experience.
Experience in internet-centric networking environments and related
monitoring, support and troubleshooting processes. This position will be
required to work the Day Shift
Demonstrable troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for UNIX/linux
operating environments.
1. The Candidate must understand and can they explain basic
UNIX/linux O/S fundamentals, such as paging, virtual memory, patch
management
* Demonstrable skills in writing, and troubleshooting UNIX/linux
shell scripts.
1. The Candidate must be able to provide examples (verbally) of
scripts that they have written that automated manual tasks for
efficiency? (they need not be overly complex)
2. The Candidate must be able to debug complex scripts written by
someone else
3. The Candidate must be able to debug complex scripts that login
and perform tasks on many multiple servers across a network
* Knowledge of Web Server and Internet technologies
1. The Candidate must have experience supporting a web server in a
production environment
2. The Candidate must know how to administer a web server in a
UNIX/linux environment, e.g startup, shutdown.
3. The Candidate must have supported Java based web servers in a
production environment
