    Looking for 3 to 4 Linux Systems Programmers

    This is a direct hire position. Salary DOE

    Client will pay for relocation.


    Candidates will be doing system programming in C and C++ under Linux and

    BSD/Unix environments.  This will include developing custom routines for

    File Handling, Packets and Communication Layers, Messaging and Message

    Threading Routines, custom code libraries and patches and Porting OS

    Systems from old VAX/VMS environment to Linux based systems.

    Primary event happening is the gradual migration from VMS to Linux for

    all backend systems.  This will involve initially developing an

    emulation of the VMS system on Linux, and eventually new OS development

    on Linux to support rapidly growing front end .com/web based systems.

    They are moving the whole engine over to Linux. 

    This position is located in Phoenix.
