Technical Marketing Engineer

We are seeking a high energy, high impact technology professional with a
proven track record in successfully marketing new technologies in the
remote access, enterprise applications, or networking space. We are
looking for a highly motivated technologist to bridge the gap between the
product development and the sales and marketing teams. You must have the
skills and knowledge to quickly become THE technical product expert
within  marketing and provide the conduit between customers and sales
staff and  product development.  As the customer advocate and as a key
contributor to  pre-sales field support, you must provide technical
consultation to  product development, product marketing, sales, and
customers.

Essential Job Functions:

• Evangelize the Neoteris IVE SSL-based remote access system to technical
press and product reviewers
• Support the product review’s process
• Support pre-sales  with both evangelism and technical expertise in
enterprise applications and networking
• Pre-sales support activities including; Technology briefings where you
can successfully communicate Neoteris’ technical leadership and value
proposition , Customer demonstrations and customer qualification
• Manager demonstrations network deployment, including day-to-day
maintenance and demonstration requirements development an scheduling
• Assessing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of
competition relative to current Neoteris offerings
• Assimilate Product Marketing strategies and message into technical
marketing materials and communicate to accounts and partners
• Support customer seminars, training, and presentations to ensure proper
representation and exposure through business partners.
• Manage inbound feature request process and create precise descriptions
of customer business problems and the feature requirements that solves
those problems.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS degree (Technical degree preferred)
• 3+ years software development/programming skills in past.
• 3+ years of experience in Technical Marketing or Technology Evangelism
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL and HTML, XML, & JAVA and one or
more widely deployed enterprise applications
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Exceptional problem solving skills.
• Desire for some travel a must.
