Experience/expertise in:

       HP-UX version 10.20 or higher with an emphasis on security.
       AIX version 4.3.2.0 or higher with an emphasis on security.

Experience/knowledge of:

       Secured Shell (SSH)
       Shell Scripting (Perl,POSIX, Korn, Bourne)
       Sudo
       Tripwire
       Trusted Computing Base (TCB)
       Hardening HP-UX or AIX servers
       Convey Unix skills to individuals with limited Unix knowledge
       Interface with business partners to:

a. Understand their security needs.
b. Design, develop or recommend secure UNIX solution.
c. Implement and support solution.

And other duties as assigned.

Understanding of:
       Industry Security Standards
       Unix security best practices
       Problem and change management practices


This position also requires the following:
       Strong commitment to customer service.
       Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
       Technical documentation writing skills.
       Superior problem solving skills.
       Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
       Ability to work with individuals at all skill and knowledge
levels.
       Ability to re-prioritize tasks as necessary.

GSEC Certification is a plus but not required.
GIAC Certification is a plus but not required.
CCISP Certification is a plus but not required.


Strong Customer Service skills are a MUST!
