The Linux Users' Group of Davis (LUGOD) will be presenting
"Linux for the Office," hosted by the Davis Community Network (DCN).

  Wednesday
  May 22nd, 2002
  6:30pm - 8:00pm


The class will be held at:

  City of Davis Computer Labs
  (Near City Hall)
  600 A Street
  Davis, CA 95616


Linux is a free "alternative" computer operating system
which is becoming increasingly popular in the server,
desktop and embedded environments.

This class will focus on using Linux in an office environment,
and will include hands-on access to the KDE desktop environment,
the free "KOffice" suite of applications, "The GIMP" image editing software,
the "Evolution" mail client and personal information management tool,
and more!


The class is free, however space is limited.
