[vox-announce] Sept. 4th LUGOD Meeting: "The Gimp" graphics tool, part 2: advanced

The Linux Users' Group of Davis (LUGOD), will be holding a meeting on:

  September 4, 2001
  6:30pm - 9:30pm

The meeting will be held at:

  Z-World, Inc.

  Davis, CA 95616

The topic will be:

  The Gimp (the GNU Image Manipulation Program)
  Part 2: Advanced
  presented by Bill Kendrick

  "The Gimp" is an imaging tool, available freely for both
  Linux and Windows operating systems, and often compared to
  commercial software such as Adobe's "PhotoShop"(tm).

  This talk, part 2 of 2, will discuss the more advanced features of
  The Gimp, including using its built-in scripting tools to automate
  image generation, to create original filters, and for batch-processing
  collections of image files.
