The Linux Users' Group of Davis (LUGOD), will be holding a meeting on:

Regular Expressions
presented by Henry House
A "regular expression" is an extremely powerful way to express how a
computer program should search for a specified pattern of text.
Its most common uses are by Unix command-line shells, with the
traditional Unix "grep" text-searching tool, in the programming languages
like Perl and C, and in many text editors and development environments.
